The sun shines on everyone.
The sun sets on everyone.
Such is the way of the world: The politician, the crook, the baker, the parent, the child, the ole' boyfriend, the new one... we are all born - in one way or another - and we all die early or later, gently or harshly and all in between... the eternal sun doesn't discriminate. It doesn't see status, or class, or wealth, or the human invention of race. Nope, the eternal sun only sees what it does: it rises. And then it falls. It brings light. And then it darkens... Such is the way of nature. Such is the way of life.
We all have our different beliefs, wishes, habits, dreams, languages, cultures, opinions, desires... but we are all the same in our fate. We are born and then we die. That is all we know for sure.
My grandmother used to wish me: 'Be well and see the good and the beautiful in life.'
A simple wish. A wise one. Grandmothers are often wise like that...
So make your life a good one. A beautiful one.
~Be well, see well, do well~
In April 2020, while experiencing her first ever global pandemic, Tamar Pelzig pledged to write something every day, even if it's only a word, so she welcomed to the world a daily blog to keep her creative writing wheels rolling.
