* A brief suspension of the voice to indicate the limits and relations of sentences and their parts.
* A temporary inaction especially as caused by uncertainty; hesitation.

Meditation for me is a practice in the art of PAUSING. Mostly as its third definition, up above. A suspension that allows me to see the relations between one thing or another. A break in the automatic, unconscious rhythm in order to be fully present. We go through the motions so much throughout the day. Our minds run a mile a second, with thoughts about the past (reenactments, sentiments and memories) or thoughts about the future (Hopes, dream, plan, fantasy) but the PAUSE is where we really reside in the now. Is where we can be present, grounded, anchored in a brief suspension of time. Anchored in PAUSE. I cherish those moments of full relief and my surrender to it.
