I suppose I was searching for the definition of the word today because I needed a sliver of connection to what Patience actually IS. Because you see... I haven't felt it in so long... that it is out of reach, and seeing this simple definition in the dictionary reminds me what it is and why I now don't have the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. And that's OKAY. Today, that's OKAY.​
