Today I've been entangled in the feeling of desire.
I felt it in my heart as if it was trying to push beyond my chest. Fast beat, heartfelt spread, butterflies-like sensation. It all struck like desire to me, but I was confused: Isn't Desire related to sexuality....? So I turned to the Gods of Google and found this definition: DESIRE (noun) *A strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen. (verb) *Strongly wish for or want (something). Pretty simple, no? To desire = To want. Whatever and whoever. I wonder; if our world is so occupied with wanting other people, do we sometimes forget that we could also want... a dream, a goal, a feeling, a moment, a win...? Do we forget and instead of living a life driven by DESIRE, many of us live a life empty of desire?
