We often use and praise titles like 'Ambitious', 'Accomplished', Talented', 'Genius', and so on....
But how often do we praise people with the term... kind? KINDNESS (noun) *The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. *A kind act. In our century of the 'religion of the self', words of personal accolades (like 'Genius' for example) highlight the individual as superior to the rest in some way, and the words that pay attention to our behavior towards the other - take a back seat. Does it empower community too much to the religion of the self? Who knows. All I know (or think, really) is that we could all spread some more KINDNESS around.
