Brain: What a fuck up. It's Wednesday evening. Look at your planner: where are you and where are your plans? You have five goals to achieve and you are nowhere near getting them done. Girrrrl, you're blowing it.
Heart: Geez do you have to be so mean!?
Soul: Let it go. Breathe and let it go. In its distorted own way... Brain is just trying to protect you.
Brain: I respect you having my back there, Soul. Your theory has a point.
Heart: I can't just let it go because you tell me to, Soul! If Brain is being mean and flat out telling me I'M A FUCK UP then I'm gonna feel something about it. I'm human, you know? Unlike some of us.
Soul: But are you really? Just 'human?' Hey, don't roll your eyes at me. Brain, did you tell Heart to roll her eyes like that?
Brain: While usually I AM the decider of those things, this time it was an involuntary action that even I cannot control.
Soul: So when Heart is out of control with her emotions... who protects her then?
Brain: I believe that would be... you. Yes, that ought to be your job.
Heart: YEAH so stop judging me and help me out Soul, okay!?! What do I do when Brain is nagging me that I'm not a goal-getter like he wants me to be?
Soul: Uh-huh. Well... you sit, close your eyes, and breathe.
And every time Brain pops his head and sends over a thought, just send it away with a blessing. He will be feisty and creative in its attempts to bother you, but just keep breathing and letting it go until Brain - in its defeat - will take a step back and give you and I some space. It's nothing against you Brain--
Brain: --None taken.
Soul: We all got jobs here, and my job sometimes? My job is simply to shut you up.
