I believe the quote continues with something along the lines of '...the world needs to hear it...' but I don't think there has to be a reason to say the thing you want to say. ESPECIALLY for artists and creators which is what the context of the quote was referring to.

Do you wake up with an urge to express yourself? To say the thing you are born to say? To write that novel that day in and day out sits in your mind, waiting...? To ditch the 9-5 safe job and follow your passion? To tell that best friend of yours how you really feel about them? To confess a secret you've been keeping for a long, long time? To confront something difficult, a lava within you, that is weighing on your heart? To protest for that cause you fiercely believe in?
