Still those Covid days. Sigh... They are NOT over. All I need is to be in a room full of people and hear that distinct cough and I freak the F out. 'Someone has Covid here!' 'Where's my mask!?' 'Let's get the F out of here!' And this is from somebody who is vaccinated AND boosted AND had the Omicron variant only two months ago. Shouldn't I feel like a superwoman right now!?
Well, I don't. Two years of Covid has made me and so many others feel on edge anytime a sneeze is heard, or a cough is being spectacularly expressed or when I glance at the always daunting Covid cases charts that never seem to look promising. We are all having a collective trauma around Covid. STILL. Two years and counting SINCE. To help each other through this, we must LISTEN, be an ANCHOR. Stay vigilant yet also be a shoulder to loved ones. And wear those masks! One day, I hope you truly would NOT NEED THEM ANYMORE. That will be when Covid days will finally be over.
