Ways to celebrate a WIN:
*Hug a loved one. *Jump up and down and scream out "I'm the greatest!" *Buy yourself a gift you wanted for a long time. *Splurge on a festive dinner. (Or nowadays - a fancy take-out) *Open a bottle of Champagne you keep around for special occasions. *Get together with friends to celebrate together. (Or - plan a Zoom party!) *Spa day & massage. (Or um - take a bath at home and get your spouse to massage you because ya know - Quarantine.) *Watch a movie. (Maybe you one you actually have to rent on itunes/Amazon for a change) *Plan out a day trip to some nature adventure. *Plan a trip somewhere. (But yeah, now now because.. COVID) *Dance around your home with loud music. *SMILE. Thanks to this blog, I have spontaneously and completely unintentionally finished a first draft of a full length play! It's a major win for me as I tend to edit as I write A LOT, so finishing a project - even only the first draft - usually takes a lot longer for me. The first stage of unearthing the inner life of this world, of these characters and their quest for a life beyond their outer and inner desert... may had come to end, but 'Losing Hope' has many stages ahead. And it could look very different by the time it reaches its final destination of a final draft. Tomorrow the work continues. Today, I'll pop open a bottle of champagne and hug a loved one. Cheers :)
