If I could travel backwards in time and give the 20 year old me advice:
*Stop talking. Start DOING. *No, they are not all thinking about you. For better or worse. *Wear sunscreen. Wear a hat. You'll thank me later. *Learn about investing. Even if you are broke. You won't always be. *Idealism is beautiful. Not practical. *You're a human being: you're allowed and going to make mistakes. Your character shows up in how you repair and reflect on them. *Have fun! But make it YOUR idea of fun. *When men tell you to smile, tell them to FUCK OFF. *When people judge you - it's only a reflection on them, not on YOU. *Learn to apologize. *Learn to stand up for yourself. *Learn to listen. *Let yourself be innocent. One day that will be gone and you will miss it dearly. Enjoy your innocence while it lasts. *Listen to your older self. She knows.
