If I could wake up in a different world, what would it be?
The sky will be blue every day. The sun will shine but my skin wouldn't burn from it. There would be no need for sun-screen in the new world of mine. The earth and soil will be lush and fertile. Vegetables and fruits will be abundant in all their glory, no matter where I'd be. In this new world of mine, every now and then I'd want to treat myself to a gourmet meal from a fine cuisine and a stellar chef, so I would. Money will not be a concern, because it wouldn't exist anymore. Travel would be easy: I would think of a place, and travel to it in an instant. And I'd be welcomed. I wouldn't need a passport because there wouldn't be a separation of countries. There'd be cultures in this new world of mine - An infinite selection of diverse, fascinating, welcoming cultures. In this new world of mine, there would be no hate. Only love, and laughter, and joy. But the people would remember hate from their past, remember it well enough to choose differently. Every day. In my new world, I wouldn't need to lock my home, because nobody would intrude upon it. People would give each other space - the space to be in their shell when needed, and the space to hug and be in togetherness in other times. In this new world of mine, depression, jealousy and anger will be traits of our past. Traits that didn't feel so good in our bodies, so we abandoned them. Carrying the burden of their memory is all we wanted to keep. So we did. In the different world I'd be in, there would be no hungry children. There'd be no abandoned children. There'd be no sad children. In my new world, creativity will be a lifestyle to everyone. Not a luxury only the few get to explore in their lives. In my new world, death wouldn't scare us. We would accept it as part of our lives, as a step towards the next phase, whatever that may be. In the new world, there'd be beliefs still, and all kinds of religions and practices, but tolerance will be the utmost sacred virtue to them all. This new world will know no wars. No conflicts. No bloodshed. This world will not have a military, nor police officers. There wouldn't be any need for them, because there wouldn't be any hurt. There wouldn't be any pain. There wouldn't be any crime. There WILL be the remembrance of all that, enough so, to choose better. This world will be of love, of kindness, of discovery and mutual respect, of joy and sympathy, of abundance of empathy, of idealism, of equality, of peace. I needed to escape the world today, so I did.
